The Boss may seem like an unlikely prophet, but Springsteen's new album, Wrecking Ball, is a real inspiration. Here's my favorite cut, an encouraging, challenging word to both pastor and people.

Have you read "The Gospel According to Bruce Springsteen?" Great book about his beliefs and philosophy as expressed in his art. A lot of his music has religious and spiritual overtones, and his band's rendition of "When the Saints Go Marching In" gives me the chills. Also love "Jesus was an Only Son", "Living Proof", and "Across the Border". Give them a listen or at least look up the lyrics if you don't know them. Always some nice surprises from the Boss!
